I am Shreyasi Das (pronounced "sreyoshi"), an emerging Textile & Mixed Media Visual Artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York. I am of South Asian descent, Bengali, and I currently live and create slowly in Tiohtià:ke (colonially known as Montréal, Canada).

Neurodivergent and chronically ill, I cherish slow, mindful projects with vintage materials and closed-loop processes to create tenderhearted visual poetry. I am currently employed as a Look Development artist for Feature Animation Films and quietly working on my personal, experimental, short film, "Unburdening" (working title), combining textiles and frame-by-frame animation.

For updates on what I have been working on, ramblings about creativity and inspiration, and first-dibs on new art in my shop, please sign up for my Substack Newsletter.

Thank you for being here.
