Welcome!

I am Shreyasi Das (pronounced "sreyoshi"), a Textile and Mixed Media Visual Artist of South Asian descent, creating ...slowly... from my humble home in Tiohtià:ke (colonially known as Montréal). By profession, I am a Lighting & Shading Artist for feature animated films.

I believe in the power of therapy and transformation through art, with a focus on healing my own chronic illness, rejoicing in my neurodivergence, and participating in environmental stewardship. My hope is that I can lead you to be inspired to heal and celebrate yourself or your community through your own art.

Art takes Time and Vulnerability. Yet sometimes, I do sell what I make. I donate a % of my revenue to the Montreal SPCA. Most of my tactile work is made with reused (second-hand), recycled, repurposed, or gifted materials with as little waste and as much respect for the environment as possible.

For (semi-regular) updates on what I have been working on, ramblings about creativity and inspiration, and first-dibs on new art in my shop, please sign up for my Newsletter.
Thank you for your time!
